Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles ! :)
I have heard great things about Perfect Chemistry. :)
How to Say Goodbye in Robot by Natalie Standiford. It's one of those bittersweet, poignant, but also heartwarming and cushy reads. I have so many contemp recs, but I'll rec one more book, one I read recently -- Good Oil by Laura Buzo. It's being published in the States as Love and Other Perishable Items, and it evoked similar feelings as Robot -- bittersweet feelings to the extreme. I kind of like endings where it's not a happily ever after, where an open-ended ending is the realistic way to end. But that it's not the end. I don't know, I just love them and they make for much better discussion.
Those both sound really good. :) I will have to check them out.
I like Graffity Moon :-)
Oooo you are the second person to mention this book to me. I suppose I'll track down a copy then. :)

I need to get reading this series. I have the first book in my reading pile. :)
Well The Goddess Test is a good light hearted one.But my favourite right now is less light hearted. It doesn't really fit your criteria but I'll mention it anyway :) Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry. The romance itself is really genuine and happy. It's the other elements of the book (personal issues, troubled pasts) that give it darker undertones. The entire book is amazing and the romance will give you butterflies and all that jazz!
LOVED the Goddess Test! :) And Pushing the Limits sounds great. :)

The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson absolutely blew me away. Honestly, this story made me laugh and cry and hurt and be happy and then sad.... In the best possible way ever. This is a book that I will read over and over throughout my life. I will give it to my daughter to read when she is old enough. I hope, if you haven't already, that you give The Sky is Everywhere a chance. You won't regret it. Graffiti Moon is sweet too. That book is art, plain and simple. Thanks for the giveaway!Jaime
